Information We Collect

ScoresByFours stores game data locally so scoring works offline. If you create an account and enable synchronization, we collect your email address, authentication-provider identifier when you use Google or Apple sign-in, policy consent, and the game data you enter, including player or team names, scores, rounds, settings, and session timestamps. This information is transmitted over HTTPS to our private storage service so you can restore sessions on your devices.

How We Use Information

Account information is used only to authenticate you, protect your saved games, and provide account recovery. Game data is used only to save, synchronize, display, export, and delete your sessions. We do not sell this information or use game data for advertising.

Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. We request non-personalized ads only. For details on how Google handles data, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob — ad serving (AdMob privacy)
Google Identity — optional account authentication
Sign in with Apple — optional account authentication on Apple platforms
Transactional email provider — account verification and password recovery when those features are enabled

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Synchronized sessions are deleted 180 days after their latest successful edit. Reopening or editing a session restarts that period. Account deletion removes active account and session data; encrypted backups age out according to the published backup schedule.

Your Choices

You may use local game saving without an online account. Signed-in users may request an export of their account and saved sessions or permanently delete their account. Contact us if you need help completing either request.

Security

We use HTTPS in transit, access controls, password hashing, and encrypted backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

Delete Your Account

App: ScoresByFours (com.scoresbyfours)

To permanently delete your ScoresByFours account and all synchronized game sessions:

Open the ScoresByFours app and sign in.
Go to Account.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] from the address on your account and request deletion; we will delete your account and synchronized sessions within 30 days.

What is deleted: your account (email, password hash), and all synchronized game sessions on our server.

What is kept: nothing beyond what remains in encrypted backups until they age out per our backup retention schedule. Game data stored only on your device is unaffected unless you also uninstall the app.

You can also delete individual saved games without deleting your account from Saved Games in the app.
